§ 13.20.282. Compensation for unauthorized discharges.

Any user who discharges wastewater which impairs, interferes with or damages the POTW, its operations or monitoring equipment, detrimentally affects the wastewater treatment process, significantly increases POTW operation costs, requires non-routine inspection and/or sampling, or results in any other damages, costs or expenses, including the imposition of fines or penalties on the City, shall be liable to the City for all damages, costs and expenses occasioned thereby. An administrative fee, which shall be fixed by the City Manager based on the City's current overhead cost allocation percentage, shall be added to these charges. The City's total expenses shall be payable within 30 days of invoicing by the City.
