§ 13.20.400. General enforcement.

Whenever any person violates any provision of this chapter, a wastewater discharge permit or administrative order issued hereunder, the violation constitutes a violation of this chapter and is immediately actionable. Enforcement responses shall consider the intent, nature of the violation, history of noncompliance, the magnitude and duration of the violation when considering the enforcement action. The Director may take any, all or any combination of these actions in accordance with progressive enforcement response procedures as contained in the City's Enforcement Response Plan (ERP) against a noncompliant user. The Director may immediately proceed with any one or more of the enforcement remedies set forth in this chapter.
